Located on Sydney's Upper North Shore, Maple House blends a fusion of neo-classical and minimalist design elements. Its neo-classical facade transitions into a contemporary rear which seamlessly integrates interior and exterior spaces. Monolithic forms juxtapose classical fixtures, while intricate architraves meet contemporary shadow lines. White colonial-style windows complement frameless windows and large-format, floor-to-ceiling black sliding doors. Along the rear facade, a colonnade of square columns frames a central maple tree, honouring nature while diffusing the boundary between interior and exterior environments.
